Getting to the Isle of Quel'Danas

At the beginning of the Shattered Sun Offensive event, you had to fly to the Isle of Quel'Danas from the flight point outside Silvermoon City, and you arrived at the Quel'Danas flight point at the northern end of the pier.

As the Isle develops, you can get to it more directly - by portal from Shattrath City. The Sunwell Portal [49,42] is in a niche on the west side of the Terrace of Light, right behind Exarch Nasuun and in front of piles of pink boxes. Just walk up to the swirling energy of the portal and right-click.

Isle of Quel'Danas

Get Your Bearings

Welcome to the Isle of Quel'Danas! First, get your bearings. Look at the map. Note the major features of the island and where you are. Now look around and compare what you see with what's shown on the map.

• You are standing on the northeast balcony [48,34] of the Sun's Reach Sanctum [47,35]. Questgivers are inside, on the ground floor.
• The small building to the north is the Shattered Sun Staging Area [47,30]. There are questgivers inside, and if this is your first trip to the Isle, you should have a travel quest to go there.
• North of the Staging Area is the pier, flight point, and takeoff point [48,25] for the two bombing-run quests.
• The building southeast of you is the Sun's Reach Armory [49,39], with more questgivers. (On the map, it's just under the first S in "SUN'S REACH.")
• The large building northeast of you is (or will be) the Inn [51,33]. (On the map, it's just above "SUN" in "SUN'S REACH.") The mailbox is in front, on the west side.

To get down from the balcony and start questing, face the wall and turn right; proceed counterclockwise halfway around the building and enter. Follow the ramp down to the Translocator. Right-click. You will reappear slightly lower and just beyond the other Translocator. Follow the ramp down to the ground floor and the questgivers there. (If you want to bypass all this rigamarole, just jump off the balcony; the fall won't kill you.)

• To find Kairthos, go through the Inn to the north balcony, and turn left. Proceed counterclockwise up the ramp to the second floor, move across to the north balcony, and then continue spiraling up to the third and topmost floor. Kairthos is there in plain sight.
